Insurance
Makia Counseling is in network with Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield (DOES NOT include EAP, Medicaid or Medicare plans). If you have another carrier, services will be considered out of network and you will be responsible for the full fee at the time of service. We are happy to provide you with a “Superbill” that you may submit to your insurance provider at your discretion if you would like to see if you may be eligible for reimbursement by the insurance company.
Please note: Despite being in network with Anthem, services, including couples therapy, may not be covered by insurance as “medically necessary” services. As a result, these services may be considered an out-of-pocket expense.
